Review a session with the Slideshow

Open the Slideshow and move trade by trade through your session, reading each screenshot, RR, tags and notes in one calm pass. The debrief, done properly.

Results in a table tell you what happened. The Slideshow tells you why. It walks you through a session one trade at a time, putting the screenshot, the RR, your tags and your notes on a single card so you review the decision, not just the number. This is the debrief that most journals never make easy.

Before you start

  • Have a session with a few logged trades. The more context you attached, the richer the review.
  • Screenshots, tags and notes all surface in the Slideshow, so trades you documented well read best here.

Walkthrough

1Open the Slideshow

  • From a session or the Trades page, open the Slideshow review for that set of trades.
  • It opens on the first trade as a full card, with arrows or keyboard control to move through the session in order.

2Read one trade at a time

  • Each card holds the trade together: the chart screenshot, the RR, the tags you applied, and your notes.
  • Because everything sits on one card, you read the whole decision in a glance, not across four screens.
  • Take the moment to actually look. This pause is the point of the review.

3Move trade by trade through the session

  • Step forward and back through the session with the arrows or your keyboard, reviewing every trade in sequence.
  • Reviewing in order lets you feel the session as it unfolded, including how one trade may have coloured the next.
  • Reading every card, winners and losers alike, is what keeps the review honest.

TIP
Review the decision, not the result. On each card ask whether this was a trade your process told you to take, then read your notes against that. A good losing trade and a lucky winner both teach you more this way.

Make it a ritual

  • Run the Slideshow at the close of every session. A short, consistent debrief beats a long one you never do.

The Slideshow pairs naturally with the Replayer. When a card raises a question, open that trade in the Replayer to step through it candle by candle.
